- CAVAC periodically offers CPR/AED classes at our base. These will always be posted on our Facebook page and website when they are offered. The American Heart Association is a great resource for online courses and education from CPR and AED to Basic First Aid. Hands only CPR can help save a life, watch this video
- The American Red Cross also offers courses, many of them online and is also a great resource to learn more about CPR/AED, First Aid, water safety and swimming.
- New York State law requires children under 8 years of age to be restrained in a proper child restraint (car seat with a harness or a belt positioning booster seat, depending on the child’s age, weight, and height).
