CPR/AED Class at CAVAC – Sunday, Sept. 17th (2-6pm)
CAVAC is offering a CPR/AED class on Sunday, September 17th from 2-6pm at our base (106 Nelson St. in Cazenovia). The class is intended for residents in the greater Cazenovia community that CAVAC services. Class size is limited to 15 participants and you must pre-register by completing this on-line registration form or by calling CAVAC (315-655-9798) Monday through Friday between 9am and 3pm. The course cost is $20 and is payable by cash or check (payable to CAVAC) on the day of the course. The course instructors are CAVAC volunteers who are not paid for their time. The $20 helps defray our costs for these volunteers to be certified through the American Heart Association (AHA).
The class will cover adult, child, and pediatric CPR and AED course curriculum of the AHA. The class will not cover the AHA Basic First Aid course curriculum. Once this course fills up, we will take a list of interested participants for a future course in the Fall (date TBD). All announcements regarding such class offerings will appear on our Facebook page and website.
